I understand wolfman is somewhat of an experiment. Even as a paying customer I am willing to deal with the outages in exchange for the conveniences I receive from an account on wolfman.
However, I request that acknowledgment of downtime be posted by one of the admins to a publicly available space. Estimated time of repair would be nice but, really, I just want to know that someone is aware of and working to resolve any issues.
I think this is fair to request, and I think usually we've done a decent job at getting it back online. However I'm not sure it's unfair to ask for a little understanding from the community - I think all of the 5 admins have a full time job and none of us make any money off of this project. We'd love to give wolfman the 24/7 attention and care he deserves, but it's just not possible, especially since this idea was spawned from a passion of what we love doing.
So to hopefully get notices out quicker (hint: I'M LISTENING TO FEEDBACK
, I'll go ahead and give all the admins twitter access. That should serve as the secondary outlet of news in case we go down again and zeeby and I aren't lurking.
With that said, anyone want to submit a pseudo resume to write some php code for devio.us? This has nothing to do with anything in the above paragraphs.
