Topic: Yeah, we totally rocked it out.

As many of you know, our previous hardware gave us a serious amount of grief. We tried to handle each issue swiftly, however despite our efforts, the server was clearly holding a grudge about something.

The final straw came this morning, when the original machine panic'd twice in a row, within a 30 minute span. After making sure it wasn't related to bigmem, we decided to just go ahead and buy a brand new machine altogether.

After roughly 6-8 hours of maintenance - we are really excited to announce our new replacement machine.

Specs:

Dual Xeon @ 3.2Ghz (running amd64)
700GB SCSI Raid5 array
4GB of memory (with bigmem)

This machine is a beast. We hope you enjoy it, as we look forward to greatness.

Re: Yeah, we totally rocked it out.

Btw - we are aware that its showing 2GB right now. I must've hurried the box out without double checking what RAM was placed in it. The next maintenance will be performed with the arrival of OpenBSD 4.7, which is when we'll get the RAM size adjusted accordingly.
