Since 1994, ZombieMUD has been on-line and bringing orc-butchering fun to the masses from our home base in Oulu, Finland.
The playerbase is a pretty friendly bunch, all over the globe to test their skill in our medieval role-playing environment. There is 8 converted races, and these races have together 7 sub races and 26 old races. So totally 41 races to choose from. The races varies a lot, some of the converted races have possibility to use your experience gained to improve your character and they have masteries aswell, and with these masteries you also get improvements to your race. Also there is 17 guilds, which you can become a orc butchering fighter or mage that casts power blasts to target, rangers shooting arrows or sorcerers calling the chaos or order to fight against your enemies.
The game has average 100 players logging in everyday and quite active wizardhood who is fine tuning or creating new things to game.
The world map is huge and has alot of different areas and cities where you can explore and find secrets. The monsters can communicate with players and the monsters have languages aswell that you can learn trough language scrolls and listening to monsters (first you need to have a small knowledge of the language to learn it more).
As a newbie there is newbie friendly players you can ask for help, Here is list of some that will get you started always... Me of course if i am in game i will help , just tell me you came trough my webpage. Then Zorky and Purge is happy to help usually. Can't say about others but you should only ask once if you ask directly from player, most of them thinks whining is quite impolite and it could lead to very nasty consequenses.
