the awesomest downloads
note: many of the programs provided are powered by lots of wrapping with bash scripts combined with Windows binaries. All of them should work on Windows with no issue [maybe, I haven't tested it there], but on Linux, you'll need the latest Wine [preferably 1.3+ instead of 1.2].
  • nfTracker -- little tracker I wrote for ant1's program, FSound, which is a monochannel music program. Comes with Linux and Windows binaries for the editor, however it requires Wine for FSound however.

  • meep -- a song I made in MilkyTracker, it's an XM, so you'll probably need Milky anyway. Gets a bit boring near the end, I did it for an OHC where we had to make a 4 minute song in our hour, so I eventually just started hyper-padding it. For the most part, it's an enjoyable listen, and is an example of tracking for SuperNSF.

  • SuperNSF -- probably the best tool for an NSF composer who doesn't make music for NES games. 8 channels of sound [4 hardware NES channels, 4 software PCM channels]. I did not write this. It's a Windows binary.
